this is the time for planting seeds. It's a good time for
beginning a projects, initiating changes, or revising goals.
Start
planting some "good" thoughts instead of sinking
in negative thoughts.

Do You Stop Negative Thoughts?

Well,
that's actually a trick question.... You can't "stop"
negative thoughts. It's like somebody telling you, "don't
think of a yellow butterfly." What do you immediately
do? Think of a yellow butterfly!
Anytime
we try to push away, avoid, stop, or control anything....
we're putting the focus on the thing we're trying to get
rid of. Focusing on what you DON'T want puts energy toward
what you don't want. Focusing on what you DO want puts energy
toward what you do want.
So,
the way to "stop" negative thoughts is to deliberately
plant GOOD thoughts.
You
"plant" good thoughts through gratitude. Practice
appreciating all the things in your life as you go through
your day. Appreciate your health, your family, your home,
your car, your job, your friends, your pets, your meals,
your surroundings, and just the sheer beauty of the day.
In this way you are planting good thoughts.
Thoughts
are like clouds floating through our mind. If a negative
one comes along, just let it keep floating through. Pay
it no attention and let it go. Use it as a reminder to deliberately
think more good thoughts, and then think of one immediately.
What
if you spent just one day speaking only of good things and
saying "thank you" to every thing, event or person
that was presented to you that day? How do you think you
would feel at the end of that day?
Try
it and see!
Go
Deeper, Reach Higher
Take some
time this week and look at where you are in life compared
to where you want to be. Give yourself a "reality"
check regarding your priorities, your relationships, and
your bottom line.
Ask yourself,
"If my life continues in the direction it is going,
where will I be six months from now? A year from now?"
Do a little
course correcting if you're not happy with the answer. Set
new goals or revise the old ones if they don't still serve
you. This is YOUR life - not a dress rehearsal. You have
the power to create your life anyway you choose.

are not limited to the life you now live. It has been accepted
by you as the best you can do at this moment. Anytime you're
ready to go beyond the limitations currently in your life,
you're capable of doing that by choosing different thoughts.."
